Dunki isnt only about Indians. Hundreds of thousands of Afghans, Syrians, Iraqis and Somalis have become illegal immigrants due to the situation their countries. Many die on the way. As an Afghan immigrant in Europe, this movie resonated differently amongst me and my family and other Afghans that saw it. Thank you Rajkumar Hirani and SRK for making such a powerful and heart warming movie about such a serious concept. I urge everyone go watch it at cinemas, for your own pleasure.

I watched Dunki yesterday and i can vouch for the Movie because it is filled with Loads of Entertainment and Emotions.. The hardships faced by Indians before, during and after the Donkey route of immigration is very well explained in the Movie.. on the whole is a very nice Family Entertainment movie with Knowledge and Nationalism..

I was in Florida some years back for office work.
I came across a Pakistani gentleman at a store, he was the manager there. We got talking & exchanged general information like how typical asians do. We met again after a week & this time it was a more free discussion. He told me about an Asian advocate who could help me stay back in the US for 1000 USD. I live in Arizona, close to the Mexico border, and it's common to hear about people from various countries attempting to enter the US illegally in search of work. They face incredibly difficult journeys, including navigating through dense forests and enduring freezing nights in the desert, where temperatures can be around 4 degrees Celsius. Many risk their lives by climbing onto roof tops of train, exposing themselves to extreme weather and dangerous conditions. It's deeply upsetting to see these immigrants go through such extreme hardships. They often lack proper food and water, threats of getting robbed during their journey, and the fear of getting caughtby the cops. All of this is heartbreaking and a monument to their resiliency-their will to search for a better life despite these huge challenges.

People don’t understand if you don’t have asylum and somehow you entered on visiting visa students visa or other way, life is very tough for those people without work permit and healthcare.

There is also a punjabi movie 'Aaja Mexico chliye ' where they also show how people spend in lacs to cross the Mexico wall to reach America.. The movie was an eye opener and the life threatening challenges faced by them made us emotional.. When I saw the movie I was silent for some time because I couldn't comprehend how this can be true but when I searched more about it on RUclips I saw interviews of many people who said the journey was worst than we thought...

Such deep emotions and connection to those that left India for an opportunity to provide for their family. Finally a movie with human emotions and reality of life. Too many directors make fictitious nonsense now. Well done to the Dunki team for not just trying to make VFX film for $$.
